The idea of an emissions neutral paper 4 years ago seemed a long way off but it didn’t deter a motivated project team from Australian Paper to get the project underway.
An extensive process was required to achieve Carbon Neutral certification. A review of carbon neutral schemes determined that the Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change Greenhouse Friendly program as the best. It started a process that took over 12 months to complete.
