NCOS Certified
ENVI is certified Carbon Neutral under the Australian Government’s National Carbon Offset Standard (NCOS), which came into effect on 1 July 2010. It provides an independent benchmark for consumers and businesses to assess claims of carbon neutrality or the credibility of carbon offset products available for sale in the voluntary carbon market.
In order for ENVI to be certified carbon neutral under the NCOS Carbon Neutral Program we have undertaken the following actions:
- Measured the carbon footprint of ENVI paper;
- Monitored and reduced ENVI’s emissions (to the extent possible); and
- Purchased and cancelled sufficient eligible carbon offset units to offset the remaining emissions associated with ENVI’s production
Using the NCOS logo allows organisations who use ENVI to promote good organisational/product responsibility by leveraging the NCOS logo on their printed materials. Not only is using ENVI a responsible thing to do, but it also allows users of ENVI to enhance their reputations as good and responsible corporate citizens.
